What are SEO audit services?

An SEO audit service is a paid, fixed-scope review of why a website does or does not appear in search: whether search engines can crawl and render it, whether its pages answer what people search for, and whether other sites link to it in a way that helps or hurts. The output is a ranked list of problems with evidence and fixes, not a tool export. Ours includes a technical SEO audit, a content and on-page audit, and a link audit, and ends with a 90-day roadmap you can run with us or without us.

What the audit covers

The audit has three parts, run in parallel by two people over two weeks.

Area What we examine What you get
Technical Crawl compared with server logs and Search Console coverage; rendering per template; canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, robots; Core Web Vitals field data; structured data validity Findings ranked by URLs affected and traffic at risk, each with evidence and a fix
Content and on-page Keyword map of existing pages, cannibalisation, pages ranking in positions 6 to 15 for commercial queries, content gaps against competitors, title and description quality Page-level priority list and the first month of briefs outlined
Links Existing link profile risk, anchor text distribution, competitor link intersection, unlinked brand mentions Risk assessment, disavow recommendation only if warranted, first prospect categories

The output is one ranked findings list across all three areas, so a rendering fault that blocks fifty pages sits above a missing meta description, regardless of which tool found it.

What you receive

A findings report with evidence, impact, effort, and the fix for each item. A 90-day roadmap with owners and sequencing, ordered by dependency. A forecast of what the top items are worth in traffic and, where we can estimate it, pipeline. A recorded readout call. All of it in formats you can hand to another agency or your own team.

What happens after the audit

Three outcomes, and we are comfortable with all of them. You continue into the 90-day sprint with us, and the audit fee is credited against the first month. You take the roadmap in-house. Or you decide SEO is not the channel for you right now, which we will have said on the readout call if we believe it. What happens after the audit is described step by step in the methodology. If your problems are mostly technical, the technical SEO page explains how fixes get shipped, and what a technical audit covers shows the checklist. Pricing for the stages that follow is public.

Questions buyers ask

How much does an SEO audit cost?

$2,800 fixed for sites up to 1,000 indexable URLs, from $4,800 above that, and credited against the first sprint month if you continue. Agency audits for a mid-size site are typically quoted at $2,000 to $5,000; ours is priced 20% under the centre of that band, and the comparison is on the pricing page.

Can I do my own SEO audit?

Partly. Search Console, a crawler, and the technical SEO audit checklist on our blog will find most crawl and index problems on a small site. What you cannot easily do yourself is compare the crawl with server logs and rendered HTML, judge which of two hundred findings actually matter, or forecast what fixing them is worth. That judgement is what the fee buys.

What do you need access to?

Google Search Console, your analytics, and a crawlable staging or production site. For sites over roughly ten thousand URLs, a recent server log export. A technical contact who can answer questions about the platform.

Is the audit really useful without hiring you afterwards?

Yes, and it is priced with that in mind. Findings include the evidence and the fix, and roadmap items include effort estimates so your team can plan. Some clients run it in-house and come back later for one specific service.

Do you offer a free audit?

No. Free audits are sales documents. Ours takes two people two weeks and we charge for it, then credit it against the first month if you continue.

Can the audit be scoped to just technical, or just links?

Yes. A single-area audit is shorter and cheaper. The full audit is more useful because problems in one area usually explain symptoms in another, but if you know what you need we will scope to it.

What happens on the readout call?

We walk through the ranked findings, the roadmap, and the forecast, and we tell you plainly whether we think you should continue with us, run it yourselves, or spend the money elsewhere. The call is recorded and yours.
